Best Affordable Hotels in LA

Firstly, I want to start by saying -You should definitely take a trip to LA this year-. Miami is not the absolute best affordable place to travel in the world. Don’t be mistaken I love Miami but I love LA more.

In LA , I typically stay Downtown Los Angelos at the Westin Bonaventure . I have never stayed in the city simply because they are so far out and I have no idea where I am going. The downside of staying downtown is the parking fees are outrageously high at the hotels I stay. I am talking $45 a night for Valet Parking. Imagine $45 multiplied by 10 days. That’s 450 I could have spent on jewlery, clothes or shoes- by the way I am a shopaholic -. As a result, instead of renting a car now, I uber to the hotel or catch a Super shuttle. It roughly costs about $40-$60 which isn’t that bad in comparison to $450.

I love resorts like The Westin Bonaventure and Hilton Checkers. They are the bomb diggity. The rooms are so niceeeeee and spacious. Lets not forget the gorgeous skycraping view of the city. I literally looked out my window and said “wowwww”. The Westin Bonaventure is well worth my $117-$126 per night and it is in fact a 4.5 star rated hotel. Additionally, the Westin has a Starbucks in walking distance so the decision to stay there was a no brainer. Side note – I love Starbucks –

There is no big difference between these two hotels and they are not far from one another. They both have incidentals ranging from $50-$100 per night depending on location. You do not pay incidentals at the time of booking but when you arrive a hold is placed on your card for the total of incidentals. Most hotels in LA require an incidental, so there is no way around that .

I am in no way suggesting that you have to or should stay at any of these brands. I am simply sharing my experience and my favorite go to’s. I hope this helps in your quest to find the best affordable hotel in Los Angelos.

Until next time,

Love Faith

My Favorite Place to Travel

When I think of all the places I want to travel it drives me nuts. I am so indecisive when it comes to planning where exactly I would love to travel to. One day I am dying to go Vegas and then the next day I see London , I see France. I decide where I am travelling to days before.

Before I can just purchase a ticket , I check prices of hotel, means of transportation and events happening in the vicinity. My absolute favorite place to go is LA. I have nicknamed LA the land of opportunity. It’s where dreams come true or maybe I was just brainwashed from too much tv. – LOL-

Why I Love to Travel ?

From I was an infant , I found myself wrapped in warm colorful blankets being lugged ,in this meticulous invention called a car seat ,half across the state. Am kidding , my mom and dad only could afford Florida destinations back then within a 200 miles radius or maybe it was a 2,000 mile radius. Give me a break I was a kid back then . -Chuckles-

I traveled every six weeks which started to feel like everyday. As I grew older and older it became apart of me , like how teddy bears and toys are to kids. I became very fond of flying and then it was almost habitual . I was six weeks when I first flew on an aircraft , now am 28 . So I am confident or super dilusional when I say I am an expert at traveling and flying . It’s totally different , trust the expert here . -smiles-

I have traveled more places I can count and more times than I could seriously remember. I believe it is now time for me to share my experiences, advice ,opinions and a joke or two about my journey . I decided to call it “Faith’s Guide To Travel ” .
